The Press Hotel

The Press Hotel, Marriott Autograph Collection, is in the former headquarters of the Portland Press Herald and includes 110 guestrooms, Union Restaurant, Inkwell Café and Lounge, art gallery, meeting and pre-function space. The hotel was completed in May 2015 and the opening marked the City of Portland’s first lifestyle boutique hotel, breathing new life into a cherished, historic city landmark. The project was a historic rehabilitation adaptive re-use that utilized Historic Tax Credits and New Market Tax Credits, the project received Level III Site Plan and Historic Preservation approvals from the City of Portland.
