The Press Hotel

In May 2015, The Press Hotel opened in the former newspaper headquarters of The Portland Press Herald. The opening marked the city’s first innovative boutique hotel, under the Autograph Collection by Marriott, breathing new life once again into a cherished, historic city landmark. This LEED Certified project was a Condé Nast Traveler Hot List Award Winner and pays homage to the Press Herald’s past with thoughtful design details that reflect the news, media and storytelling, and celebrates the local arts with a gallery featuring works from Maine artists.
